Row of four small cottages including one shop. Early to mid C19. Brick painted white, slate roof. Rectangular double-depth plan, each cottage single-fronted. Two storeys, a 4-window range; round-headed doorways at each end and coupled in the centre, all up one step and with blind overlights; a small rectangular bay window to no. 13, with multi-pane glazing and pentice roof, but all other windows 16-pane unhorned sashes with raised sills, those at ground floor with flat-arched heads and those above with heads under the eaves. Ridge chimney stacks at the junctions of the pairs. Facade of no. 11 damaged by falling tree during course of survey and rebuilt. Rear similar, but slightly altered. Interior not inspected. Comparable with nos. 15 and 17 further down this lane (q.v.), which are of similar social type but contrasting form.
