Description

Nos 14 to 18 on New Street are a row of mid-19th century cottages. They are two storeys high and double fronted, each featuring two windows. The roofs are slated, and the cottages are constructed from gault brick. The windows are recessed sash types with stucco heads. Number 14 has splayed bay windows on the ground floor, which are topped by a continuous hipped, bracketed slate roof. Numbers 16 and 18 have entrances that are adorned with cast iron trellis porches and tented hoods. These cottages have group value with Nos 10 to 18.
