Lead works, unoccupied and conversion in progress at time of survey. Probably early to mid C19. Red brick, roof concealed. Tapeziform plan with triangular east end. Four storeys, 11-window facade to the wharf, with segmental-headed windows and some loading doorways; parapet. West end under 3 gables and probably 6 windows but only 4 visible (left end covered by large advertising hoardings); outer gables flat-topped. Interior: cast-iron columns, timber floors. Forms group with former stable block to south east (q.v.).
