Description
The towpath footbridge over the former branch of the Rochdale Canal, located opposite Brownsfield Mill, dates from around 1804. It features brick ramps at both the east and west ends, which have cobbled surfaces and stone slab outer walls with rounded tops. The wooden bridge has been rebuilt. This structure forms a group with Brownsfield Mill.
