GV II

Entrance lodge to former Didsbury Lodge. Mid C19, altered. White-painted roughcast render on brick, slate roof. Square plan (plus late C20 addition to rear). Classical style. Single storey, a 2-window facade, symmetrical, with plinth, thin string course defining lower border of former frieze, moulded cornice; central rectangular porch with corner pilasters, entablature, cornice and pediment, round-headed doorway with moulded surround and keystone (C20 glazed doors); 4-pane sashed windows with raised sills and moulded architraves. Similar windows in the sides. Shallow pyramidal roof with coupled chimneys at the apex.
