Description
The walls and gate piers at the entrance to Didsbury Lodge were likely built in the mid-19th century and are made of painted sandstone. The structure features dwarf stone walls that curve inward on either side of the driveway. There is an inner pair of tall square gate piers topped with flat ribbed caps that are finished with small ball finials. These piers are supported by volutes on the copings of the walls. Additionally, there is an outer pair of shorter square piers. This entrance forms a group with the lodge of Didsbury Lodge.
