Description
Number 13 is a purpose-built office building from 1903, constructed of brick and terracotta with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and features a two-window range. To the right, there is an advanced entrance bay with a moulded segmentally arched architrave around the doorway and a segmental pediment above, which displays a coat of arms in low relief. The first floor has a two-light mullioned window, and the segmental hoodmould above it is echoed in the curve of the pedimented parapet. The left-hand bay contains a three-light mullioned and transomed window on each floor, with a hoodmould over the ground-floor window. The eaves are topped with a parapet that has blank shields forming a panelled frieze, and there is a gable end stack. There is also a five-window return range. The interior has not been inspected.
Additionally, there is a low brick and terracotta boundary wall with a concave arched parapet that carries cast-iron railings, enclosing a small yard in front of the building.
