Description
Wright's Green Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered over time. It features oak panel framing with brick nogging on the side walls, and each gable has a pair of ogee-shaped crucks. The cottage has a red tile roof and sandstone walling on the east gable wall extending up to the first floor. There is a brick chimney located on the east gable. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of 2 bays. A modern glazed porch has been added, along with a 19th-century brick lean-to at the rear. The windows are small casements.
Inside, there is a chamfered oak beam over the parlour, a pair of crucks in the partition wall, and two massive oak purlins.
