Description
West Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with colourwashed brick infill and some tile hanging. The roof is thatched, half hipped, and has a central brick chimney. There are two eaves dormers and the building is 1½ storeys high. Open porches are located on each side, each with a tiled lean-to roof. Between the porches, there are two 3-light casement windows and a panel displaying the crest of Edward Bonus under the eaves. The right-hand gable has a modern square bay with a tiled roof and a 2-light casement window above it. Additionally, there is a modern one-storey lean-to extension at the rear.
