Description
This is a house in Davenham, built in 1741. It is constructed of red English garden wall bond brick with a plain tile roof. The datestone is inscribed "I M". The front has a central, gabled porch added in the 20th century, with a window of 4 x 4 panes and a glazed door to the left of a 18th-century plank door decorated with nail-head detailing. There are 2-light casement windows, replacements from the 20th century, with cement lintels. The first floor mirrors the ground floor with 2-light casement windows, and a blank recess in the centre containing a cambered-headed datestone. Gable stacks are located on either side.
