Description
31 Manor Road is a small house dated 'I M 1741' and has been altered over time. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and features a renewed pantile roof. The house is one storey with an attic and has a three-room layout with a continuous outshut. The doorway, located to the right of the center, has a part-glazed panelled door and a blind overlight, all beneath a flat brick arch, with the datestone positioned above. Each room has sixteen-pane sash windows with projecting stone sills and flat brick arches. There are later casements in the gabled dormer above the central window. The building also has a brick eaves band, shaped kneelers, and gable copings, along with brick end stacks and a ridge stack to the left of the dormer.
Inside, the central room features a stop-chamfered spine beam and a basket-arched fireplace. There is a stone staircase and two lime-ash floors.
