Description
Garforth Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and features a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and four bays, arranged in a 2:1:1 pattern, with later single-bay extensions added to both the right and left sides.
On the ground floor, there is a four-panelled door with an oblong fanlight, which is set beneath a segmental brick arch. The windows are tripartite with glazing bars, all positioned under segmental brick relieving arches. There are bands at the first floor level. The first floor features tripartite windows in the centre and to the left, while the other windows are sliding sashes with glazing bars. The house is topped with a dentilled brick eaves cornice and has both end and axial stacks.
