Description

The gates and gateway at Londesborough Park date from the early 18th century. They are constructed of red brick in an irregular bond, featuring flagstone coping and tile bands at the imposts. The wrought iron gates have a scrolled lock rail and a spiked upper rail, set within a round arched gateway that includes an archivolt and impost band. There are octagonal spur stones present. This gateway provides access to the gardens at the rear of the former Londesborough Hall. Londesborough Park is also listed in the HBMC County Register of Gardens at Grade II*.
