Description

The garden walls and gateway at Londesborough Park were built in the early 18th century by Richard Boyle, the 3rd Earl of Burlington. The walls are constructed of brick with stone dressing and were raised in the early 19th century. A notable feature of the walls is the rusticated round-headed gateway, which includes chamfered imposts and a keyblock, along with a double leaf boarded door. Londesborough Park is recognized in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission County Register of Gardens at Grade II*.
