Description

No. 1 Green Lane is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is built of red Flemish bond brick with painted ashlar dressings and has a slate roof. The house has two storeys and features a symmetrical entrance front with three bays. The central doorway is flanked by half-pillars that support a cornice, which has a basket-arched fanlight above it. On either side of the doorway, there are sash windows with three rows of four panes. The first floor has similar lateral windows, and there is a central staircase window that is slightly lower and has a round-arched top.
