Description
This is a mid-17th century cottage located in Weaverham, with a later 20th-century extension. The cottage is timber framed, resting on a stone base, and has a thatched roof. A plastered brick chimney rises from the structure. It follows a two-room lobby-entry plan. The south-facing front is single-story and two bays wide. It features seven small, irregular window frames with angle braces. Modern two-light wooden casements with applied lead glazing, and a modern door are set within the original window and door positions. The gable ends are plastered, and a timber-framed extension projects from the rear. The interior retains the original plan and inglenooks, though few original features remain.
