Description
No. 13 High Street is a former house that has been converted into four commercial units. It dates back to the 17th century and features 20th-century window fittings. The exterior is chipped and rendered over timber framing, topped with a Welsh slate roof that has one ridge and one gable brick chimney. The building is two stories high with a four-bay front. On the ground floor, there are three 20th-century wooden windows and a door in the second bay, while the upper floor has two three-light metal casements. Inside, the walls are thick, and although the timber-framed walling with wattle and daub infill is complete, it is concealed by later decoration. The ground floor has exposed chamfered ceiling beams, one of which is inscribed with "IPOPO." No other original features are visible.
