Description

Powell's Bridge is a 1795 single-span bridge made of brown brick, located over the Shropshire Union Canal in Ellesmere Port and Neston. The bridge features an elliptical arch set between battered abutments and has a curved plan. It is adorned with a brick band and a parapet that includes stone copings.
