Description

This milepost, dated 1833, is made of cast iron and features a circular post with an ogee-domed top. It has a curved plate that reads "NORTHWICH MIDDLEWICH 1 5 MILE MILES SANDBACH 6." At the base of the post, there is a raised oval plaque that displays the date in the center, surrounded by the name of the parish in upper case lettering.
