Description

The office premises of Calypso Company Limited, formerly a house, date from the early 19th century and have undergone some 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of stuccoed brick resting on a stone plinth, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof and featuring two brick chimneys. It has a double-pile plan and is three stories high with a symmetrical three-bay front. The second floor has a bond at the sill level and is adorned with a wooden cornice. The windows are 12-pane sashes set beneath flat wedged stone heads. A detached unfluted Ionic porch features a semi-circular fanlight with radial glazing bars and a six-panelled door behind it.
