Description
St. Albans House is a pair of houses built in the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. They are constructed of orange brick in Flemish bond, featuring purple headers, and have a Welsh slate roof with three brick chimneys. The houses have a rectangular plan and are two stories high with a six-bay front. The windows are 16-pane sashes set beneath flat wedged stone heads. At the right end, one window has been replaced by a canted bay window with glazing bars. The doors, located in the second and fifth bays, have simple wooden architraves and are half-glazed; the northern door includes a trelliswork porch. The building is listed for its group value.
