Description

The Cottage and The Conifers is an early 19th century house and cottage constructed of Flemish bond orange brick with yellow headers, featuring a Welsh slate roof and three brick chimneys. The rectangular building has a 3-bay and 2-bay plan, with a 5-bay facade. A dentilated brick cornice runs along the top of the building. The windows are 16-pane sashes set under flat, wedged stone heads. Half-glazed doors, encased in simple wooden frames, are located in the second and fourth bays; the northernmost door is sheltered by a wooden trelliswork porch. The property is listed for group value only.
