Description
Rosebank is a pair of houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with yellow headers and feature a Welsh slate roof along with three brick chimneys. The houses have a rectangular plan and consist of three units. The front is symmetrical with two stories and six bays. There is a stone plinth and a simple stone cornice. The windows are 16-pane sashes set beneath flat wedged stone heads. In the second and fifth bays, there are simple wooden doorcases topped with triangular pediments, leading to half-glazed doors. To the right, there is a single-story 20th-century addition. These buildings help to frame the view up the High Street and are listed for their group value.
