POOLE C.P. POOLE GREEN SJ 65 NW Pinfold 150 yards north 1/86 - west of Poole Bank (formerly listed as 200 yards north west of Poolebank) 24 May 1973 II

Cattle pound, at road junction, early C19. Of hammer-dressed red sandstone blocks. 1 metre high, 3 metres square averaging 4-courses of coursed rubble walling. Chamfered edge to top course and vertical stone jambs to the entrance. The jambs contain hooks for hanging and securing the gate which is, however, missing.
