Description

Wardle Pinfold is an early 19th-century cattle pound that was restored in 1981. It is constructed from red sandstone blocks, measuring 4.2 meters square and 1.2 meters high, laid in coursed rubble. The compound features a metal gated opening on the west side, and the wall is topped with a roughly rounded stone coping.
