Description
This early 19th-century farm building is located on Woore Road in Buerton. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with ashlar dressings and a roof of plain tiles and corrugated metal sheeting. The building has two storeys and five bays on the entrance front. A central doorway features a cambered head, ashlar hinge dressings, springers, and a keystone. The door itself has six raised and fielded panels, with the upper two panels arched. To the left of the door are two three-light windows with cambered heads and keystones. To the right, there is a similar window—although with renewed 20th-century fenestration—and a doorway with a cambered head, keystone, and ashlar hinge dressings leading to a plank door. A rectangular stone with a moulded surround and arched top is centrally located on the first floor, and there are two keyed pitching eyes to the left and one similar to the immediate right. Both gable ends have similar pitching eyes, and the gables have ashlar kneelers and coping.
