Description
Buerton Old Windmill is a late 18th century to early 19th century windmill located on Windmill Lane in Buerton. The structure features a circular body made of red English garden wall bond brick, with battered walls and four storeys. Each floor has four cambered headed windows, and there are cambered headed doorways at the front and rear of the ground floor, along with a loft door situated directly above the front ground floor doorway. Some timber from the revolving cap still exists, and two sets of mill wheels remain inside the windmill.
