Description

Beech Tree House is an early 19th-century house located on Sandy Lane in Audlem. It is constructed of rendered brick with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. The house is arranged with three bays, symmetrically disposed on the entrance front. The central doorway features fluted pilasters on either side and a triangular open pediment above, incorporating a fanlight. The doorway has a six-panel door. Ground floor windows are sash windows with 4 x 4 panes, featuring ashlar sills and wedge lintels with projecting keystones. Similar windows are found at first floor level, with a central window that has 3 x 4 panes. A moulded cornice of painted stone runs along the top of the wall. The gable ends are finished with ashlar coping stones and ridge chimney stacks.
