Description
This farm building, dating from the 1830s, consists of a barn, shippon, stables, and cartshed, forming three sides of a cobbled yard. It is constructed of brown brick with a graded grey slate roof on the rear wing and tiled roofs on the side wings. The central gable of the rear wing features a blocked pigeon-loft above an arched two-storey recess. There is a two-storey driftway in the left wing at the junction with the rear wing, and a one-storey cartway in the right wing opposite. The building has boarded doors, some of which are divided and set under cambered heads, with some alterations made over time.
