Description
The gazebo, now serving as a garden shed, dates from the early 18th century and is constructed of brick with a slate roof. It features two attached round-headed stone arches at the front; the right arch has an inserted boarded door, while the left arch is blocked. Both arches have bevelled jambs and arches, and there is a panel above where the arches meet inscribed with "LAUS DEO." Each end of the gazebo has a small stone-dressed window, with jambs and a lintel that have a cyma profile and steeply sloping flush cills. The monopitch roof rises towards the front. The wall of the walled garden, to which the gazebo is attached, also likely dates from the early 18th century and has a triangular stone coping. The wall measures approximately 90 metres by 80 metres and stands 3 metres high.
