Description
This is a farm building from the mid-19th century, built to replace an earlier structure shown on the 1842 Tithe Map. It features brickwork and a slate roof, forming three sides of a yard. The building has a central single-storey block with two-storey hip-roofed end wings, with the southeast wing flanking the entrance to the farmyard. The central block includes three stable door openings with timber doors facing the yard, and each wing has two inner openings that are recessed. There are small ventilation slits on the road elevation, and a pitching door is located on the northwest wing. A timber stair leads to a first-floor door at the inner end of the southeast wing. Additionally, there is a later lean-to structure against the gable of the north wing, with its wall extending to meet the gable end of the house.
