Description
The farm buildings forming a five-sided yard are located immediately northeast of Tirley Court and date from the early to mid-19th century. Constructed of brick with red tile roofs, the buildings create a U-shaped yard in front of the farmhouse. On the right side is a three-bay barn featuring central double plank doors, with two large rectangular panels of ventilated brickwork on either side and a half-hipped roof. Flanking the barn are open-fronted seven-bay shelter sheds. To the left, there is a former stable block with gable ends angled at 45 degrees to the facade. This stable block has a central plank door flanked by windows with glazing bars, and a former central pitching door to the hayloft, which is now blocked with a window. There is also a similar two-storey stable block on the left with a central pitching door still in place and a half-hipped roof. Attached to this stable block is a five-bay open-fronted shelter shed. The interiors of the buildings have not been inspected.
