Description
The building consists of a store, cider-milling house, and open-fronted shelter shed located at Old Farm. It dates from the 17th to early 18th century and into the 19th century. The store features square-panelled timber-framing with unpainted brick infill and a weather-boarded left gable end. The cider-milling house and open-fronted shelter shed are constructed from blue lias stone and topped with red tile roofs. The rectangular timber-framed store is two storeys high, with a central plank door flanked by 20th-century four-pane frosted lights. The original openings for other windows are unglazed. There is a central plank door leading to the cider-milling house on the left, and a five-bay open-fronted shelter shed is set back to the left. Inside the timber-framed store, there are flat-chamfered beams with moulded stops, indicating that the building was previously used for domestic purposes. The cider-milling house still contains a cider mill with a yoke for a horse.
