Description

This is a railway boundary post from the mid-19th century, located 7 metres east of Twemlow Viaduct on the south bank of the River Dane. It is made of cast iron and features a "T" bar section with rounded top edges on both the face and rear support bar. The post is inscribed with "L & N W Ry Co" and is associated with the nearby Twemlow Viaduct, which is just a few metres to the west. This post is included for its group value.
