Description

Nos 32 and 34 on Crewe Road are two adjoining houses, with No 32 dating from the early 19th century and No 34 from the late 18th century. Both buildings are constructed of red brick and stand two storeys tall. No 32 features two tripartite sash windows on both the upper and lower floors. No 34 has a slight central projection with a gable and two plain sash windows, along with plain lintels. Each house has a doorway on its return side; the doorway for No 32 includes a plain semi-circular fanlight and a gabled brick porch with a sash window, while No 34 has a plain doorway and a gabled rustic wood porch. Both buildings have toothed eaves and slate roofs.
