Description
Nos 45 and 47 on Old Crosby are houses dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. They were divided into two separate dwellings around 1900, with alterations made to No 47 around 1980. The houses are constructed of local red brick and feature a pantiled roof. They are two storeys high and have three first-floor windows.
The central entrance has a part-glazed door beneath a plain rectangular overlight, with an inserted glazed door to the right. No 45, on the left, has three sashes with glazing bars set in flush wood architraves, while No 47 has two replacement sashes, all of which are located under segmental brick arches. The eaves cornice is dentilled, and the roof has end stacks.
