Description

Hope Chapel dates to 1836. It is a brick building with a pedimented facade facing north-west. The facade features two tall, semi-circular headed windows, a decorative band, and a central doorway. The doorway has a stucco surround, raised entablature, cornice, a plain semi-circular fanlight, and a four-panelled door. A tablet within the gable displays the date 1836. The side of the chapel facing the street has three windows and a doorway with a plain elliptical tympanum.
