Description

17 High Street is a building mainly from the early 19th century, with its core likely dating back to the 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick and has three storeys. The facade features five sash windows, each with single glazing bars. The doorway, which dates from the late 19th century, is complemented by plain eaves and a slate roof. The right-hand section of the ground floor, which was once a shop, has been altered and now has facsimile windows instead of the original shop front.
