Description
St John's School, dated 1843, is constructed of coursed freestone. It features a central projecting porch bay with a gable and a three-light window that has stepped, semi-circular headed lights and a sill band on a corbel table. Each side of the building has a two-light mullioned window with semi-circular headed lights and a tympanum with a hood mould. The corners are reinforced with flat buttresses. The entrance consists of a semi-circular headed doorway with a ledged divided door, which has a dated escutcheon above it. The building has coped gabled ends and is roofed with slates. It is linked to the School House by a stone screen wall that contains an archway.
