Description

Throstle's Nest House is a late Georgian detached house located on Buxton Road in Buglawton. The building is constructed of stucco and stands three storeys high. It features three plain sash windows, with the outer windows on the first storey set in semi-circular headed recesses. The ground storey includes a bay with added casement windows. The central doorway is adorned with pilasters and a cornice, and there is a glazed wood porch. The house also has a stuccoed modillion eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof.
