Description
The guidepost at the junction with Bradwall Road is a late 19th-century cast iron structure. It features an octagonal post with a raised shield that is inscribed with "NRDC" for Northwich Rural District Council. The post supports three plates that have pecked corners and raised margins, with the names "KINDERTON & MIDDLEWICH," "SPROSTON," and "BRADWALL" inscribed in raised sans serif capitals. The guidepost is topped with a ball finial.
