Description

Blue House Villa is a house built in 1802. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and has a roof made of Welsh slate. The building has two storeys and features three windows. There are four semicircular steps leading up to a central five-panelled door, which is framed by an open-pedimented Tuscan doorcase. All the windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The high-pitched roof is topped with two end brick chimneys that have ashlar plinths and cornices. The gabled central dormer includes barge boards. Inside, the villa retains original architraves and has an open well stair with an inserted cast iron balustrade.
