Description
The Church of Holy Trinity is a parish church built between 1831 and 1832 by John and Benjamin Green of Newcastle. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a roof made of Welsh slate with stone gable coping. The church has a wide five-bay nave, a west porch, and a two-bay chancel with a south aisle, all designed in an Early English style. The nave includes a plinth, buttresses, eaves brackets, and triangular coping, while the chancel is adorned with angle buttresses and flat coping topped with a cross finial. The east elevation showcases three grouped lancets above two mullioned, two-light windows and a door.
