Description

The gates and gate piers located to the west of Washington Old Hall are from the 18th century and 20th century. They are made of ashlar and wrought iron. The structure features 18th century double gates and two single gates from the 20th century, which have round spikes on their standards. There are two tall square piers, dating from around 1959, that support 18th century urns brought from the Old Clock House in Ascot. The gates were a gift from Chapter XI of the Colonial Dames of America.
