Shops and houses. Circa 1837, probably by John Wardle, for Richard Grainger. Sandstone ashlar; Welsh slate roof. 4 storeys, 15 bays, the right end bay a curved corner. Ground floor altered. Upper floors have sashes, some with glazing bars, in plain reveals; projecting stone sills to second and third floors. Second-floor band; prominent top cornice. Low-pitched roof.
