Description

Dwarf walls and railings located in the center of Charlotte Square in Newcastle upon Tyne date from the late 18th century. The walls are made of brick and feature round-topped stone coping. The railings have spear- and-loop heads, with principal posts topped by urn finials. These railings surround the north and east sides of the central garden. Some sections have been replaced along a new line, while others have been renewed.
