NZ 2464 SW NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE ST. ANDREW'S STREET (east side) 19/613 17.12.71 Town wall south of Nos. 74-80. G.V. I Town wall. Late C13. Large sandstone blocks. Section of wall to walk-way height, with corbels and part of turret, abutting on No. 43 Gallowgate and Nos. 74 to 80 St. Andrew's Street. Scheduled ancient monument.
