Description

The town wall located south of numbers 74-80 on St. Andrew's Street in Newcastle upon Tyne dates back to the late 13th century. It is constructed from large sandstone blocks and features a section that reaches walkway height. The wall includes corbels and part of a turret, and it abuts number 43 Gallowgate as well as numbers 74 to 80 St. Andrew's Street. This structure is recognized as a scheduled ancient monument.
