NZ 2464 SE NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE GALLOWGATE (south side) 20/612 Town wall to rear of Nos. 1-25 odd G.V. I Town wall. Late C13. Large sandstone blocks. Section of wall about 3 metres high partly abutting on rear of Nos. 1-15 Gallowgate (q.v.) and Nos. 17-25 Gallowgate. Scheduled ancient monument.
