Description
Howlbeck Mill Farmhouse and its east extension is a house dating from the late 18th century. The building is rendered and painted, featuring late 20th-century interlocking clay pantiles and stone gable copings. It has one stack on the right-hand side and stands two storeys tall with two bays. The façade includes paired early 19th-century sash windows with timber mullions in their original openings, complemented by painted keystones. The doorway is off-centre. Adjoining the east gable is a single-storey lean-to extension, constructed with the same materials as the farmhouse, also dating from the late 18th century. The outbuildings to the northwest and southwest have been altered significantly and are not of interest.
