Description
This boundary stone, located 1280 meters north of the Cross Keys Inn on Middlesbrough Road, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of dressed sandstone and features a semi-circular head. The stone measures approximately 45 cm in height, 25 cm in width, and 20 cm in depth. The northeast face is inscribed with the letters "N.L. B.D." It is positioned at the northeast corner of a stone boundary wall and marks the former boundary between the civil parishes of Upsall and Pinchinthorpe.
